Commissioning and inspection of the Pilot Multi-purpose Commodity Cleaning Centre for Export in Niger State
During the official commissioning and inspection of the Pilot Multi-purpose Commodity Cleaning Centre for Export in Niger State and the official handing over of the Center to JM Goma International Limited to manage and operate on behalf of Exporters in the State.
The Chief Executive Officer (CEO) JM Goma International Limited Dr. Jamilu Mohammed Goma appreciate His Excellency the Executive Governor of Niger State Alhaji (Dr.) Abubakar Sadiq Sani Bello for his benevolence to ensuring the establishment of this Multi-Purpose Commodity Cleaning Centre for Exporters in the State. He added that the gesture will no doubt boost export business as value addition would be added to exportable Agricultural Products which will translate into:
• Creation of Employment Opportunities
• Income Generation
• Attract more foreign exchange into the State through Foreign Direct Investment (FDI) thereby improving the Socio-economic status of Nigerlites.
Also, he assured the State Government and Exporters in the State that never again will Niger State Exporters would be Short Changed! Because, with the assistance, the Centre will enable export focused commodities such as Sesame Seeds, Soya beans, Ginger, Hibiscus Flower, Sheabutter etc to be aggregated, cleaned and packaged for direct foreign markets. He thanks the Executive Governor for his magnanimity which no doubt proves that he is leaving a legacy which will keep lingering in the Sand of Times.
Finally, he appeals to the State Government for their continuous support in facilitating the progress of Export Business in the State when the need arises as the cleaning Centre is the first face of primary value addition and with their support 50fcl will continue to leave the shores of Niger State to various continents on Monthly basis.
